For those who find wonder in the quiet places.
Gentle watercolour paintings inspired by the quiet beauty of Ontario's forests.

A Woodland Christmas is Beginning
I'm currently working on this year's Yule collection—quiet winter scenes, woodland animals, and the gentle magic that arrives with the first snow. These paintings and cards are still taking shape on my drawing table, and I can't wait to share them with you.

From the studio....
When I first moved into the forest, I was surprised to see herons sitting high up in the trees. I always thought of them as water birds, happy along the water, not perched up in the branches. It feels a bit silly to think that now.
Apparently they even sleep up in trees sometimes, probably for safety.
I still love spotting them up there.

Hi, I'm Lisa Ferguson!
I'm a mixed media artist from Hartington, Ontario, inspired by the natural beauty of my home province. My work features whimsical woodland creatures and peaceful landscapes, all created with watercolours, graphite, and charcoal. I strive to capture the spirit of nature and bring a touch of magic into every piece I create.
